8 Minutes 20 is the artist practice of Paul Calver.

My work is built around natural forces and the gap between how the world actually moves and how we've arranged our lives around it. The work uses technology not to simulate or abstract these forces but to redirect them, creating encounters where light and time become tangible, present, and oddly intimate.

Alongside this, I've built a career over the past 15+ years as a photographer and director, working globally with brands both big and small.

Both practices are rooted in the same place: an obsession with light, form, and what holds your attention.
